Zoe Porter Jeweller
I found Cranfields through my father when he was supplying his wine at a “Meet the Maker” night at the store. He told Nicola about my jewellery and next minute I was involved in the night myself. That is what I love about Cranfields, they get behind the makers, the suppliers. They want to meet you, know you, and introduce you to their customers too.
I make a range of different jewellery for Cranfields. I work with gold and silver in my workshop on Abel Smith Street. Some pieces are completely one-of-a-kind, things I have wanted to make for a while, or an idea I can't get out of my head. While others are small runs, earrings, bangles, necklaces - they might have different coloured stones making them all slightly different, I love working with different coloured sapphires for their durability and pops of colour.
I’ve even bought some items from Cranfields myself. I love the range of games they have, Klop has become my go-to gift, an easy wedding present and a firm family favourite after gifting it to my brother for his 30th birthday.
Cranfields supports a great group of NZ based, and more importantly Wellington based makers, and the team at Cranfields are always happy to go out of their way for their customers.
