I’m a Cranfields newbie although my partner Steph has been a loyal customer since the early days. For me Cranfields is like a discovery experience where I go in with a loose idea of what I want and end up coming away with something I need but different to what I thought.
One of my favourite pieces is a wooden chess set with classic figures, beautifully carved & well defined. Essential, as my game is bad enough and help is always welcome.
A small side table, sits unpretentiously in our entrance. Its design is of unstated quality and fits our newly renovated early classic 60’s abode. It’s useful to house keys out of sight and highlight a beautiful hand blasted yellow glass candle.
Along with our already substantial collection there are still many things on our wish list. One piece in particular is a dinner set shrouded in pewter with a visible hallmark stamped, made lovingly in Northern Italy. This piece has presence and speaks of quality while fitting in with our Bill Toomath designed home.
